This is a versatile fiber-based spectrometer that uses innovative technology to measure and provide spectral profiles in the 2,900 to 10,000 cm-1 (1-3.4 um).
The combination of the iGuide™ infrared fiber by IRphotonics and the spectrometer by Sandhouse Design allows the trace detection of molecules whose fundamental vibration energy is in the mid IR range such as CH4, H2S, and HCN for example.
